Well yeah, I kinda assumed they didn't have a 12 second work week.My son worked on the AJ Foyt IndyCar team. He was a Race Engineer or a Strategist depending on the race. Those pit guys do a LOT more than just change tires. They prep the cars before the race. Setup the transmissions, set wing angles, etc.
But there are some guys who don't have a job with the race team. They just come in for the race and do what they can in the garage and then they are on the pit crew. Kinda groupies with benefits....Well yeah, I kinda assumed they didn't have a 12 second work week.
That was my generation (Gen Y) except that was my early high school years, not middle school. We didn't have Google to verify. Probably heard it on MTV or something. Dude was weird so we all believed it.
