That don't take up a large amount of room? Its hard to steady the rifle on a log when not using a bipod or a sling when hunting. I can't use a DBM and rest on a log and what not. I'd like to keep the stock but I am tempted to move to a H&S M-24 but I'd rather fix this, the stock does well from the bench or slung in.

I saw this in another thread and can anyone ID the bipod mount he is using? I emailed the member but he hasn't responded....

You have a stud for a Harris or

Just put an MLOK Pic rail on it and use a Pic rail mount

There are plenty of MLOK adapters for bipods and arca rails, and pic rails etc,

Go to Midway or Brownells there are two dozen options

Sadly a Harris stud, but would be willing to use the QD mount from Larue I guess lol Thanks for the suggestion.
Would you put the QD pocket on the pic rail as well?

I prefer to have the option to use either a 1907 sling or a bipod. Are the magup bipods that much better compared to my old harris bipod? I looked at the Mlock rail sections and none of them will move the bipod out far enough to make any difference for the stock. It still leaves everything in the same slots as pictured..... I guess I need a suggestion on a spigot mount like the last picture from the other guys rifle.
