Been doing a lot of searching and there really isnt a lot out there. I'm curious how git-lite is working during normal prs/nrl type matches. My WC Clede comes in close to 6lbs, it would be nice to cut that down but I dont want to sacrifice stability.

Looking for first hand experience. Thanks!

I absolutely love it in my game changer. Wouldn't hesitate to run it in all my bags.

I prefer the heavier fill but then I'm not carrying it very far or for very long. I have actually changed out most of my fill for sand, the denseness and weight help with stability shooting at odd angles.

Looks good but not sure if $60 is worth trying. Tacital udder only cost me 70.

I really like it and used it for the last half of our session instead of a my GC with normal fill. While lighter the beads are the same size and shape so i found that they sat and packed the same on barricades.

Ive gravited to shooting gear that I can use for elk hunting since that is the ultimate application of a precision rifle for me. Swapped out the fill on my Traust medium bag. Improved stability for alternate positions and works as a rear bag. Light enough I will actually take with me in the wood. Fills another purpose as a very comfy pillow at night🤠

It’s awesome stuff!!
I swapped out the fill in my Warhorse Development Saracen first to check it out. Yes the obvious result is reduced pack weight, but the bigger advantage was the just as solid stability as the heavy fills.

A quick back story, I actually swapped out the poly fill for hard red winter wheat, as I like the kernel shape better and find it was more stable. The wheat fill added about 2lbs to it, but I packed it anyhow.

So when I swapped for the Gite-Lite, I was looking for a very specific result, and my expectations were more then met. I use it for everything from positional to prone and everywhere in between. I even filled my sons Comanche with it too, and he is very adamant about carrying his own gear.

So long story short, yes I feel it’s well worth the cost!!

Only dry fire so far but I love it. Trying to rid myself of bullshit only used to play a game, and keep to realistic stuff I’d carry on a hunt.

Anyone have a pint sized game changer filled with this stuff? I ordered just before they offered the git lite and the regular light fill is still a little too heavy to carry hunting. I really like the versatility of the pint sized game changer in the woods but would like to get it under a pound.

@CaylenW did a video putting git-lite in a pint size. I think it was right at a pound

Pint size is like air. I got one a month or so ago and have really liked it compared to the old full size. I'm not 100% sure which one is more stable just due to the smaller size of the pint size, but it's been great. I'd like to have two full sizes to compare back to back but will definitely keep the pint size around regardless.

Maybe, but the trick is finding rigid EPP beads if they're out there, and someone who will sell them to you in amounts less than a shipping container's worth. If you know where, let me know.

Care to link something? I'm all about saving money.
Both Spex Lite and Box to Bench Precision sell EPP, flexible filler (5524, ~1 pound per cubic foot). Spex Lite also sells what they claim is rigid 10 pcf fill, 5125. Not sure if that's more dense than Git Lite, and I haven't seen reviews of that.

I've looked and can't find better suppliers, though I'm with you I'd love it if I could.

If you look up the other Git-lite thread they directly compare size and weight of the Git-lite to the products you posted. Dont think they are as similar as you may think.

You're right, I forgot the multiple kinds of fill Spex Lite sells. The lighter fill is likely EPP, not sure what the rigid fill is. Though I don't see reviews or direct comparisons to Spex Lites 10 pcf fill. Edited my post accordingly.

I’m sure there are viable alternatives with a bit of research. However, Git-Lite was a known quality, and I was able to purchase only the amount I needed.
