I may be a millenial but I don't seem to fit into your millenial category. Whats amazing is how we get talked about all the time but when an older person comes up to ask me how this works or that works they don't repeat the part that they asked a millenial how this or that technology works or how to operate it. Also just because you saw a voice activated faucet doesn't mean we designed it or use it. I'm way to tight to buy some shit like that i have other hobbies that i waste my money on. Yes i'm married with kids, and i own my house, my vehicles and all my other shit. This is also the only social media i am on or participate on. Most people are so paranoid that the government is watching you but you have 4 different social media accounts, but that dam fridge or alexa is gonna be the tech that gets you.

Kinda surprised the first thing you thought of when you saw that faucet was how "butthead-stupid or just plain lazy" millenials are.
Come on now, they ain’t bitching about you specifically. I’m 33, same place you are with a home, family, toys are paid for, but I LOATHE millennials. They are lazy and stupid, vast majority of them! A lot of them codgers did more to get to the point of asking for help with new technology than the majority of millennials will in 3 of their lifetimes.

But you want to know what I HATE even more when it comes to millennials? Each and every one of their lazy, stupid fucking parents that raised such a pile of shit. They didn’t teach them how life really is. They let the school systems spew the bullshit that is ever so prevalent today. Fuck them all. This generation is fucking up our freedoms because their parents gave zero shits and took the easy way out of parenting...

I thank my parents for raising me the way they did. I ask them specifically for advice with my own. Damned if I’ll let my boys end up like millennials.

I honestly believe the workforce of America is fucked with millennials. It will be lucrative for us as we age, but overall to the detriment of our great country. Millennials are the only thing that makes me strike pause when I think about Trump’s “America First” initiative. I’m not sure it’s sustainable with our weak, upcoming work force...

Whoa! Dont forget that the big thing now is kestrels and smart phone or tablet apps to make shooting easier and faster.
Right?
I don’t use any sort of electronic software to get my dope. I just shoot and keep holding over on my duplex reticle until I hit the target. Then I draw my hold on a rock with wet ash.

Oh wait, sorry, I don’t use electronic field tech to get my holds because I am old school. I use pen and paper, like a man. I just print off my charts online and then write in my true data. lol

(Full disclosure I use both hard and electronic means of data collection... because I’m a smart millennial.)

No matter who you are, technological advancements have affected every aspect of your lives. You can’t get mad at one piece of tech and use it to condemn a generation. That’s just ignorant. As stupid as that faucet may be, it came about from creative experimentation. Creativity is essential to life, however that doesn’t mean every creative idea/product is useful or practical.

Yup.
Yet all they want to do is bitch about millennials and the state of their country without realizing that they are the ones who laid the foundation.

yeah my generation is embarrassing these days and the ones behind us are clowns. all these guys that have bitch biscuits (man bunns) and more than likely call AAA when they have a flat...where the hell did things go wrong?
If an able-bodied individual is unable to change their own tire, that is the fault of the parent for not teaching them how to do so. It also falls on the parent for not instilling the drive to problem solve. Obviously the shit head with the flat is to blame as well, but whatever.

It's not all millennials. But after seeing some whining for student loan forgiveness, because their degree in middle eastern dance appreciation isn't landing them a six figure salary, they've built a reputation.
We forget who raised these whiners. I'm a millenial and I'm raising my girlfriend's son the same way I was raised. You have no one to blame but yourself for anything that you don't like in your life. We can also say it's the school systems fault for "indoctrinating" our kids at school into liberal thinking, but where were the parents to teach them how to think for themselves after school? Just like I was raised, if there is something wrong with your kid, look in the mirror first.

they are just like every generation. some good. some bad. shitheads seem to get the attention...except the “greatest generation”. in that generation, the good got the glory, but there were plenty of shitstains and asshats in that generation, too. after all, who the fuck you think raised the spoiled, entitled, hippy shitbird baby boomers?

the young ones i know....they give me hope for the future. i’ve seen a few shitheads, but overall they are a wonderful group of kids.

You can also blame the parents for what the school system has become. That shit changed over the years and they failed to take notice and get involved. You obviously can't blame the KIDS who are in school for not knowing that our nation's education system is fucked up.

I see Boomers as the issue.

Provided the best years of America, 1950s when we were the undisputed heavyweight, white picket fences and the appearance of propriety.

When they came of age they protested for the destruction of all they were provided.

They are currently the leaders of the Communist movement, Hillary, Bill Ayers, Bill Clinton, Biden etc.

As they retire and enter old age many have saved nothing living their "Age of Aquarius" lifestyles and now maneuver the unfairness that everyone else has a 401K and they don't. Fellow travelers like Pelosi have spoken the unfairness that not everyone has a 401K and that some people lose money when the economy down turns so 401Ks should be nationalized.

Who raised them - The Greatest Generation. Perhaps they were too war rattled and living the life of Don Draper to raise their kids.

Like all this talk its a generalization. There are lots of Great Boomers and its apparent their Greatest Generation parents raised them well.

Fact is every generation has allowed the incrementalism that has made us arrive here

It's not my kids doing the whining, but I'm expected to finance the whiners just the same.
No argument the prior generations of hippies and other freeloader types got the ball rolling.

I heard from someone the other day that there was an analog clock as part of the centerpiece on a table at a wedding and there were people at that table that couldnt tell the time.

So this occurred to me. When I look at a digital clock or time, I picture the hands of an analog clock. What do people who cant read an analog clock picture in their heads?

i believe the issue runs deeper than just parents. at what age do you hold the young adult responsible for their actions and choices? I don't care how you're raised, at some point in life, you know the difference between right and wrong. granted some kids had this beat into them and some kids had sit down talks with "inside voices". There's so much trash that influences a young adult into making a decision almost daily. a lot of teens grow up with no father figures or mother figures and I'm sure that's mentally challenging but at what age do you not let that determine your outcome in life?

millennials today look for excuses on everything. with the way the world is today, they feel more entitled to stuff as if the world owes them something. i'll be 31 next week and I've never acted this way? I worked hard to build a home and make sure my bills are paid on time. life isn't easy sometimes but I don't run and look for a safe place. the world changed and the people changed with it. what use to be normal is now frowned upon. America got Soft.

The joke is that the younger generation can’t afford this shit because of the financial shit show the older generation laid out for them.
Actually it's your glorious technocrat leaders that the young folks idiolize, pushing full steam ahead with destroying all good paying jobs and replacing it with crappy "AI" which is a bunch of slave wage folks in India trying to figure out what the "AI" gets stumped on.

You want jobs, get busy putting the screws back to all those that destroy good paying american jobs.

Why blame millennials? They don’t vote, and the youngest millennials haven’t even been able to vote for twenty years. Are you telling me the world was fine until 2000?

And which generation(s) outsourced all fo the jobs? Which generation(s) are the ones paying shit wages to illegals so they can bring in a bigger profit rather than hiring citizens at a livable wage? Which generation drafted/proposed/voted/enacted legislation that allowed for American businesses to send jobs abroad at 9am on a Monday and then bitch about how they had to wait on hold for an hour to talk to someone in customer service with a heavy accent at 9:05AM? Why do we have US based companies that take a raw material, send it abroad to be molded/created/assembled, and then have it returned to the States just to sell it here at a jacked up price despite it being cheaper for them to do that than it would be to have the product 100% made in America?

Because people are greedy fucks that don't give a shit about the big picture. Meanwhile the but the older generations like to bitch about the state of the country and hate millennials that bitch about the state of the world that they got fucked with. Social media has given the younger generations a platform to voice their bitching about but many take to self-destructive levels. A lot of the older generation doesn't understand why the kids are they way they are now but that also because they are products of two DRASTICALLY different eras and environments.

Well if the car doesn't come with a spare and the manufacturer states that you shouldn't carry a spare, then that sucks. However it still doesn't excuse one for not knowing how to change a tire. Every generation has their own assholes and neither is free from blame or responsibility.

Well check the age of the "Technocrats" that are busy trying to rule the world and keep all the money for themselves. You'll find they are not that old.

Then for the rest of the big corporations, you'll find it's a mix of both old guard and young fresh idiots doing the destroying of jobs

None of the younger folks seem to care if all their favorite tech toys and stuff are all made in foreign countries either.

Then what age groups seem to be the most fanatical about voting in the Communists / Democrats currently?

Not.
That news article had no less than five either stills or actual video.

People give people want the people want.

If nobody wanted to see it, nobody would spend the time videoing it.

Been out for awhile, but there is a fridge that can tell you what you need more of or you can look inside of it with an app on your phone....

How hard is it to open the fucking thing and go, need milk, eggs and breakfast sausage.... then write it down. Oh wait, they don't even know how to write, let alone have pen and paper. I'm 33, making fun of my own worthless generation.
I'm 35 man. It's really sad how our generation has really fucked us. Soy lattes, gender neutral socialism.

no, we are not fucked. i see more freedom being exercised on a daily basis than ever before.

back when i was a kid, carrying a pistol would get you 20+ years in prison. not so much anymore.

back in the day, if you wanted to get the word out, you had to either write the newspaper and hope they picked your “letter to the editor” for print, or you had to soapbox it. either way, your audience was extremely limited. now, with the internet, the sky is the limit. yeah, you still have fuckbook and twotter owners trying to stifle their opposition, but there are other ways to get your message out. WAY MORE POWER TO THE INDIVIDUAL THAN EVER bEFORE.

and guns....boys....we are living in the golden age as guns. and let me tell you, it’s never been better. the flavors available are endless. the caliber, the platforms...the optic choices.....you fucking kids have no idea just how fucking awesome it is these days.

yes, the potential for bad shit is ever present. we must be vigilant and always active in promoting and teaching. but, it aint no where near as bad as some would have you believe.

and yes, i am at the age where i see the world passing me by...but not so old that i can’t look at the world and still feel hopeful. :) So dont let the old fucks (like me) steal your thunder. Get out there and freedom it up, recruit and keep the tide going the way it is. Your world will be what you make it.

Twitter and Facebook are the reason we are where we are. Literally everyone has a voice now. The minority has the loudest voice thanks to social media. No way would I say it's better because of that. Way too many people have opinions now, when they would have to stay in their lane if it weren't for social media.

I couldn't read all the threads without making a comment.

I've got 3 Millennials, all girls (2 in college, 1 in high school). My older two just don't fall into that category for a simple reason.....i don't tolerate that shit in my house. I'm tough but love them. The benefit of raising them on my own.....my rules and lots of talks about life at dinner. A great deal of it is social media AND a great deal of it is the household and the rules. So while we can blame technology, we also need to blame a shitload of parents for tolerating it and allowing it to seep into their homes.

There are no millennials in High School.
Millenials are between 38 and 23 (1981-1996 birthdates). The generation after is starting to be called Generation Z. Don't lump us with the tide podders.

Or in other words millenials range from roughly kindergarten to almost alcohol buying age on 9/11.

I was hoping we would be in the good times create weak people stage. If it gets weaker than what it already is, we're fucked
