  • A chassis for Schmidt Rubin K31

    Hello hide.
As well as someone could remember from the pre-scout hide we've been into carbon fiber stocks back then.

After that we've swithced to CNCd chassis and since i've got couple of K31 around i've decided to make a chassis for this old straigh pull shooter.
It turned out suprisingly well - just 1268 grams with magpul pistol grip which is lightier than original wood stock.

now we're gonna shoot the hell out of it

    Thank you for your answer.

That's cool! How much will it cost?

Looks like there is room for ejection of brass to clear the scope.

Very nice! Def let us know when you bring it to market.
Not a fan of LER scopes, so I'd do the Rock Solid Industries mount on the receiver (with brass deflector) and a nice Vortex optic. Ken told me they've got their 10 round mags about ready to go, too.

tested it at 300 meters - 10-12 cm groups with surplus GP11 ammo.
with 1,5" mount (AR height w\o cantilever) brass and round ejects fine.

beautiful stock vtb! Although, I have to say, I can't bring myself to change my K31 in the least. It shoots awesome and therefore I can't change anything.
Every shot serves a purpose, whether accurate or inaccurate. It will always tell you what you did, and did not do, right. Even if all you have is a fraction of a second to make it, learn from it. So the next one is even better.

Well. The idea behind the project was that to make spacegun chassis for the great gun.

It's like having a streak here in American baseball...I don't even let my K31 change it's underwear or socks....
