  • Ballistic App for Android

I am by no means a techno geek. So I will pose this question to those of you who may be. I am looking to purchase a ballistic app, either Shooter or Applied Ballistics. I have a Samsung Galaxy S 3 Android phone (about four years old). Will these apps run on my not so new phone? And if either of these will work, which do you prefer?

    Thanks,
    Bang

Yes and Shooter works well for me.

I have used both Shooter and Applied ballistics. I use applied ballistics because it seems like the bullet library gets updated more often. Both will pair with a kestrel vie blue tooth. And seem to give identical solutions. Really they are nearly the same app. Both get their formulas from bryan litz.

        I used Strelok,Pro, not a very intuitive app. I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks everyone. And I too use Strelok now and hate it.

You should give BallisticsARC a try. You get a lot of accurate features for the price, plus there is a free version as well. Their customer service is also great if you should ever have any questions.

I use Sniper Calculator Pro for Android and like it a lot.

I purchased Applied Ballistics App. I like it. There is also weatherflow meter with ballisticarc. See link below.

I use strelok pro, and like it. I have found no issues as long as my data is correct. Shot to 1 mile with it. Routinely in the 1000 yd range.

Is BallisticsARC available for Android? I thought that was just for Iphones

                        Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the responses. I loaded a Shooter on my fairly old Android and it works well. So far I am happy. No glitches so far.

                        Thanks,

Strelok always gets me a close miss!
