They're seriously protected, and it's kinda important that 1) I don't violate any State or Federal Law, an 2) that I'm able to pass a Polygraph. So we'll put the Live Trap back out for a bit and if that doesn't work?
Claymore's

My ex father-in-law would catch the squirrels in a cage. He would paint them fluorescent orange or yellow. He worked at the Railroad for 40 years, and had some train operators he didn't like, so he would set the squirrels lose about five miles up the track. I guess the goal was to see if these guys would come back and talk about orange squirrels, maybe in hopes they would get drugged screened???? He was a quiet man and didn't share his motives, but he was always doing something like this.

The bunnies are hungry this morning.

I broke down and bought a bag of rabbit feed. Had to screw the feed trough to a 2x12, little buggers kept knocking it over. Corn cobs mostly gone, time for another gathering run, not a problem with all the standing corn around here.

Feeding rabbits. Must be getting soft in my old age.
Damn coyotes and feral dogs keep the rabbits gone around here.

Wednesday night down here so my working week is over after a couple of 12+ hour days, Monday was a public holiday. Knocked off a couple of cans of Wild Turkey 101 while attending to a couple of matters and having dinner. Poured myself a large Elijah Craig small batch over one of those monster ice balls and turned on the TV. Choice of movies was Contagion or Outbreak. Guess my view is now going to be the rest of the bottle and the laptop....

On to the next project. We are donating a tilt tub to our club for their disc golf course. If course it has to be done by Monday so I can take it down this trip🤦‍♂️ I have to use the little blaster because the big one will warp the skin. That and it crapped out on me when I blasted that last truck. That’s a whole other story... Scheels needs to put a store in the Tampa area.
When I lived in Rapid City, Scheels was the only reason for going to the mall.
They eventually moved east over by the Cabelas.

Used to go to the Scheels in Sioux Falls when I was working up there. Also really liked Mills Fleet & Farm. We just don't have cool places like that in the South. And we don't have any decent grocery stores either.

Got home from work in time and winds were light (4-6 mph), so I thought I’d shake it up a little and shot Miss Lori’s mouse gun. Kinda’ fun and something different. Those little pairs are tough to distinguish through a 15x with my old geezer eyes.

115 deg F yesterday, should only get to 101 today but expecting thunderstorms and 1 to 1 1/2 inches of rain in our area, up to 4 inches in other parts of the state.
That is some killer heat but good to hear you guys are getting rain.
Now if it would just quite raining here! Supposed to get another 3-6 inches this weekend. Think we are close to 30 inches for the month.
