@Geno C.

I guess trying it out, 16 lbs will do. 😁

I always go full crazy and order as much as I can on one hazmat fee.
Its not that much, I am just that cheap.

Looking at 6 16 pounders soon.....
And a few projectiles. Im down to around 7k for 556, so need to stock up!

Took a little trip down to Queenstown, NZ over the weekend. Amazing scenery. Also the furthest south I’ve ever been in my life... not too terribly far from Antartica here!
That's absolutely beautiful. Really want to knock off NZ off my bucket list. Hunting is supposed to be fantastic as well.

The 375 eats over 140gr every round so 16lbs doesn’t go as far as it does for most other things. I hate paying the hazmat fee too but Midsouth was only $16 I think. I like to pick up powders at the LGS. A little more $$ but it keeps them carrying it.

If you’re looking to get lapua or Berger bullets, I got a guy🤫

Yeah it is! Wish I was here on vacation instead of work. Evidently there is a shortage of engineers here.

Just spent 10 hours at the casino. Was up $3K NZ dollars off of Blackjack - keyword: was.
The company I work for as an engineer down here in South Australia was bought by a New Zealand company a few years ago. Not enjoying their management style. May have to try retiring again soon. Hope you did not end up leaving the casino down too much??

Interesting. I could see that. Seems a little too laid back. Not sure I could handle too much of it. A tad liberal for my tastes overall.

Invested $1200 NZD, left at $2100 NZD so not too shabby. USD conversion is going to reduce that by 40 percent but a gain is a gain at least.

Well done mate, always try to leave ahead. You must be in a different industry to me, the safety Nazi's are killing me. Our factory is the only one of it's kind in the Southern hemisphere. They want one set of rules to apply everywhere regardless of the process, product, conditions etc because they had some unfortunate deaths in NZ, most of which were out of their control. Before I set up this factory I built others in the Middle East, USA and Europe and all exceeded required safety standards.

I think we have different little people.....

As the soon to be step-dad, adjusting things takes a little time. A solid relationship with the kids is of high importance.

We will however, make it work in the future.

Geno, get them berries finished so you can have a little play time.
We’re working as fast as these idiots can go. A few of the guys he has working this year couldn’t even make it as a carnie! Check the snap of the one dumbass picking berries into a ice cream pail because he isn’t smart enough for anything else🤦‍♂️

That is the problem with the "corporate" mentality throughout the world today. I used to think it only happened in America, but am realizing as I travel more that is pervasive everywhere. Part of why I left the corporate world in 2009 and retired early. Will be heading for Brightwater, NZ in 6 weeks for the winter...:giggle:

Nice and sunny here but over on our East coast it is raining where our biggest motor sport event of the year is happening this weekend. Expecting to see some carnage.

Getting wintery around here..

PA110501.JPG

The Child Bride needed to have her chemo port checked at the local clinic, so, fire up the snowmover. This stuff started yesterday early am with rain, by mid afternoon turned into wet, heavy snow. Driveway had 3-4" of snow, could barely throw 6' it's so heavy.

Looks like it's going to stick around for another 24 hours. Sitting in place with a slow CCW rotation.

Early in the year for snow, but we've seen this before. Almost every time we get a Early October snow it goes away and Indian Summer settles in. The key word is "almost". Sure hoping that's the case with this dustup.

At least it's not -10.

And yes, if you notice, we live right across the street from the K-12 school. Firearms are transported with the utmost discretion and stealth.
