Sadly, that genre of music is dead in the current 'singers'. It's been replaced with self deprecating, morally bankrupt, plagiaristic garbage. May surprise some of y'all, but I do like some Ottis Redding, the four tops and similar.

Today's corruption... nigga nigga yeah yeah. Dat rite. Nigga nigga yeah, mutha...
That shit makes me want to take scalps!

Did anybody watch her butchering of the national anthem a couple years back before a football game? I believe it was on thanksgiving. Was during the start of the whole "piss on the anthem" movement.

One of the things I had coached my musician friend to do was to pay respect to these great artists in times like this.
She's got a show tomorrow in Nashville. I'll never know if she does it or not, but I hope some of what I said sunk in and at the end of her set, she gives the audience a little bit of
"R-E-S-P-E-C-T"
Just a little bit.

Stunning entertainer with a once in a lifetime voice and most of all PASSION for her music.

I will certainly miss her spirit but it lives on in my recordings
