Stop and frisk is about the most unconstitutional shit these motherfuckers have come up with.

I imagine this is the kind of shit they were thinking of implementing back in 1774. I imagine how it'd look on the night of the "Boston Tea Party" where they showed up in disguise and the British stopped and frisked 'em.

I know it's a damn good way to make me the enemy. And it'll further alienate police, they're already uniformly hated.

And if it targets everyone else but me, I'd still be against it. Also, if it becomes nationwide, the moment a cop approaches an armed individual who isn't supposed to be armed, well, you can imagine the rest. It's just not a good idea.

How many times do you think,” man that person looks like a real shithead?” I guess we’ll find out how often person is correct about that.

I mean it’s not like they can just lay siege to Chicago. Or just burn it down. They don’t police them selves. Nobody wants to cut welfare. What do you want them to do, Write them a letter?

Yeah, but once it is law, good luck rolling it back. And it will slowly trickle into every city and town in America.

Agreed, and if it's unconstitutional end of discussion not to mention what has allready been stated about putting officers at greater risk for deadly encounters from thugs with nothing to lose.

Any real and lasting change has to come from within the communities or its a losing battle.

What a bunch of bull shit. This seems so obvious as a violation of personal rights.
Do we want to be like 1962 Soviet Union? "Where are your papers, let me see your papers"
But there are a ton of sheep in the world. When NYC was doing it and I bitched about how Unconstitutional it was 99% of the time I got back. "If you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to fear"

I seem to recall being called autistic in another thread for claiming he was a delusional narcissistic power hungry tyrant worshipping con man who's true colors would eventually bleed through. He not a constitutionalist, he a fucking opportunist. End of story. One day soon the right will see him for the tyrant he wants to be, and the left will realize the 2nd amendment is the only hope to stop it. If we can just find a way to agree on which babies we get to kill and move on, there's hope for this country.

@truth I said you had 'daddy issues'.

Would you name the last constitutionalist president we had?
Everyone does on some level.

Irrelevant deflection of a question. Point is all these Trumpistas clamoring over his ability to ruffle liberal feathers and professing their willingness to march into battle for this shyster is just mindless drivel or a tired racist trope. Either way, it stands as fucking idiotic and has no relevance to any sort of semi intelligent comprehension of the underpinnings of this republic and why it's been worth fighting for.

Everyone has daddy issues...Thank you Dr Fraud.

So the last president that truly followed the constitution is irrelevant to the discussion and the only hope is for the left to take up arms against this tyranny. Got it. Putting the hammer and sickle down before pointing your finger to yell tyranny may help your argument a bit.

Obama is not president anymore.
Right? Can you imagine what would have happened had Obama uttered an of these words:

The president of the United States apparently regards the leader of the Chinese Communist Party as a model. “He’s now president for life,” President Trump told supporters this past weekend. “President for life. No, he’s great. And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot some day.”

or...

"Gotta be properly applied, but stop-and-frisk works," said Trump

or...

“I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida ... to go to court would have taken a long time,” Trump said at a meeting with lawmakers on school safety and gun violence.

“Take the guns first, go through due process second,” Trump said.

Folks would have burned the MF'r to the ground, but the point is he never said those things. Trump did, and the "LOL j/k" is a sad rationalization.

Derp.

The only hope is that the polarized factions of the left and right center realize the common enemy isn't each other and sort this shit out. A civl war between the fringes is an idiotic plan.

With all that crazy Chicago solutions that have been posited around here, you guys are gonna go sideways about stop and frisk? Seriously, someone here can suggest puttng a fence around Chicago and setting the Marine Corps loose in the city, and the crowd cheers.

Trump loves spitballing all sorts of stupid things on the world stage. Maybe he does it to gauge the reactions? You know the left is going to lose their shit, regardless of the subject...don’t be like them.

Pretty sure this won’t pass legal scrutiny in any case, and pretty sure he can’t force Chicago to do it. Huge Nothingburger!

Everything in your original post could be applied to Obama. Obama was definitely more refined in public, but don't let that fool you into thinking he was some messiah. With that, Trump's bark is worse than his bite in most cases.

Yep.

I hope Chicago does get stop and frisk.

You know the police won't use it on really dangerous people, just white guys they hassle and cute chics.

With enough of that, they might actually look for real solutions to their violence problem.

Desperate situations demand desperate remedies. Anyone who is foolish enough to get caught in the Chicago ‘hood is going to need protective custody anyway. Place is a war zone and should be placed under martial law.
Stop and frisk is unconstitutional...period and end of story. Martial law is a better way to go. Send in the NG if the LEO guys can't handle it. Send them to the worst areas based on shooting statistics. Arrest anyone not complying with the law in those areas. If they put up a fight, shoot them with no remorse. Raid every place where the gangs hang out and arrest them as well

You'd be amazed at how quickly the crime rate drops. Lemay said it before...and it applies in any war zone

Exactly. No cop, alone or a pair, is going to walk up to a group of armed gang bangers and tell them..."We're going to search you for weapons. If we find anything, youre going to prison!"

Yeah ok. Cops arent that brave. 2 dead cops in about 5 seconds. Theyll only use "stop and frisk" to harass normal citizens.

i think if they were allowed to patrol and respond to crimes and act like most of the rest of societys police force does, i think that may work...
if that doesnt, then try stop and frisk...
if the cops were allowed to shoot, bitches wouldnt be shooting at them

It's bullshit. How about letting the good citizens arm themselves.

Cops don't need more reasons to be hated even more.
Jerry,

Then you will be prosecuting what used to be good citizens. The crimes aren't happening where people who can afford a gun are living.

Send out the Army and let them handle it. The rats will run and quickly when they see patrols of men armed with M4s

Really? That’s exactly what they were doing. The resulting gripe was that is was 90% Black and Hispanic who were being searched, and that it just wasn’t very effective.

I’m not for it, personally. Terry stops are pretty well defined, and New York’s attempt seemed outside that.

You use guns to fight against guns. This is basic fucking knowledge. Everything is too political and law abiding citizens arent allowed to police their own towns and cities.

This shit didnt fly hundreds and thousands of years ago. These little hood rats would have been taken care of in a week.

That’s your stat? So you think that if a bad guy has a gun, and a cop contacts him, the bad guy must shoot the cop, always? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I’ve taken tons of guns off bad guys, and not one of them have shot at me. How do you explain that?

I am fully aware that stop and frisk has fifth amendment problems. That's how you piss off voters enough that they look for real solutions.

The powers that be aren't going to fix anything, it's Rham Emanuel...

Some times it's not enough to tear off the band-aid, you've got to get them in a rear naked choke and put them to sleep (and maybe hold on to the choke a bit longer).

There are apparently a bunch of law and order types that seem to love this "Stop and Frisk" garbage.
The courts have already ruled it unconstitutional which they should have.

If any of of those "Just following orders" types want to try it on me, I'm not going to fight them over it in the moment when they have the advantage...... But I'll be sure they get held accountable for their actions....

As to all the people that keep pontificating about how great yet another unconstitutional thing "Martial Law" would be... here is what happens, they will go rampage all the good citizen's places first where it's easy and safe, take away all their defenses, brutalize them and not bother with the dangerous criminals... you think I'm wrong... Look at New Orleans after Katrina when they sent in a whole bunch of trigger happy oppression loving bastards... sure they feel all tough smashing up an old lady who is peaceably compiling with their orders and stealing then purposely destroying their weapons... then they promptly ran back to their bases feeling so good about their stupid selves and let everybody else deal with the criminals.
Next time... people will shoot first and take their chances when the "Just following orders" type try to come and do their "martial law".

The answer to Chicago's problems is simple. The few remaining good citizens need to be free to arm themselves and defend themselves.
The city needs to stop just ignoring crimes for the most part and actually go out and do what they are paid for.
Perhaps kick out the mayor and city officials for their crimes & get new ones put in.

That is actually how you get everybody to get united hating the police who "just follow orders" that are unconstitutional and ruled illegal by the courts.

You won't get "real solutions" what you will get is somebody getting elected that promises to slash & burn the police department till the public "rage" with their misdeeds has been satisfied.

Then the cycle repeats but this time with a worse quality of politicians and police...

Sounds to me like they werent set on trying to kill you? How many did you disarm by yourself? Or without the help of the entire department? With little to no conflict? I find that hard to believe. Where you live at, Mayberry?

Fact of the matter is, if you stroll up to a guy (or group) minding his own business and tell him to put his forehead against the wall because you want to search him, youre going to have problems. Keep that in mind when you think everybody is going to toe the line because you said so.

https://www.odmp.org/search/year

Used the above link to do a quick search. It seems 1 cop has been killed in Chicago this year from gunfire. Sounds to me like they are avoiding the really dangerous areas. Must be why crime is soaring..

There are literally videos on youtube with gangs just hanging outside of their "crib" patrolling their block. Can easily see members with pistols in their waistbands and one even shows off an ak47 he has hidden under the porch steps. If the public knows this. The cops do as well. They avoid it because they know theyll get killed. Basic shit.

Go ahead Wyatt. Go tell em youre there to disarm them.

Mayberry, hardly. You have a fundamental and glaring misunderstanding of cops and bad guys. Since you’re gonna double down on your false conclusion, why don’t you take your Chicago ODMP stat, and compare it with how many guns Chicago takes off bad guys. Do you actually think it’s anywhere near the odmp number? Of course not, it will be thousands to one.

Listen, just have an mrap pull a pitch er of sqrawberry day-I-queeries and a bucket of chicken around the hood trailing behind on a chain. Then when “someone” jumps out and tries to steal it they lay down a barrage of firepower like no other has (never) (that’s right veer double negative) seen. They’d get the message.

Or they could stop and frisk and if the person frisked is in the clear the frisker would have to give them a gift card to ........ chicken and watermelon! Who’s with me!!!

Or perhaps the cops could sit around and throw feces at the bad guys.

Basically you gotta bring it to their level.
