fuck the government and the leeches that are part of the extortion scheme, fuck them all.

It must be one hell of a feedback loop for you anti-government types. I feel for you, I really do.

All your hyperbolic circle jerking gets all fucked up when you realize that the government workers you hate, are the very ones keeping out all those "towel heads" and "wet backs", and doing shit like enforcing national borders, and therefore, national sovereignty.

Well, there about 40,000 or more government workers that are under the category of "excepted personnel". That means that you don't have the option of just finding another job to make ends meet. You are obligated by law to show up for work even though you aren't getting paid. To obtain work outside of your current occupation actually requires written permission by the senior official of your agency. To do so without permission is grounds for termination of your employment.

So, it isn't just as simple as that. They have you by the balls. And no matter how much you can make in tips from the local pizza place, it won't equal a $50K - $100K job with full benefits.
Boo boo. Get a job producing something and stop being a leech.

The courts and police are 99% about harassing and keeping the tax slave in line and ignore the criminals at the top and bottom so fuck them toon to be a productive member of society.

Seriously, California is for the stupidly rich liberal elite. Federal employees that care about salaries have no business being there.
I'll inform the POTUS of your decision to move the US border. Did you want it somewhere north of Sacramento, or were you just planning to vacate California altogether?

No. Why would I do that?
You gotta remember settlers mostly came to the US on the east coast. They kept traveling until they found a place that fit.
Californians kept moving until they hit the far ocean and had to stop.
That tells you quite a bit about Californians.

GTFO with that BS. You Feds bring in all the terrorists like the Boston bombers and let the underwear bomber in.
.gov is the problem. The solution is not more .gov. You guys are the ones keeping people and schools from protecting this country.
A mass shooting/terrorist attack/drug od happens, and .gov gets more power and money.

government workers make 2 to 3 times their civilian counterparts
In my experience, this is wrong. For example, civilian scientists make easily 10% more than Fed scientists doing the same jobs, in some cases 25% more.

People that contract for furloughed Fed agencies will not get paid if/when the furlough is over. Those folks typically put in an unemployment claim as soon as they are locked out.

Same for programmers. Some of the tradeoffs are in the benefits, though. .gov bennies are nothing to shake a stick at.

the article i read said they were
They are not. Regardless of what you may have read, BP, ICE, Customs, and TSA are not getting paid, but are working anyway.

With regard to TSA, this includes Air Marshall's and Air Traffic Controllers.

If all of the above listed gov employees were to quit, shit might get wrapped around the axle pretty quick.

How much fun would it be to fly in the vacinity of LAX with no ATC? 😁

Simple fact is that .Gov jobs have become another welfare program thanks to the socialist dems. No offense to people here that are federal employees, there are some good people working in a very fucked up system. But even you fed employees gotta admit that 85% or better of the government jobs in this country are absolutely unnecessary and just an absolute waste of taxpayer money. Greece wasn't far ahead of us in federal employment numbers when their whole economy collapsed, the minority citizens could afford to keep a government that outnumbered them afloat.

Is the fucking USPS dead yet? Those mental fucks can't track or deliver a package worth a shit... ever! Oh and going physically into a post office is the most depressing thing short of visiting St. Judes Children's terminal ward. It's like Shaniqua got canned at the local Dollar Tree and gots a gig selling stamps and shitty package logistics. You'll never get fired from the USPS either. Doesn't matter how bad you are at your position, you are there for life if you so desire.

This isn't a recent revelation either. It's been dickered for years and years. I won't even order from vendors that only ship USPS - not gonna do it. Give me some good old FedEx, or UPS is absolutely necessary.

"It fits, it sucks".

I am a furloughed Federal Employee. I’m also uber-conservative and pro-gun. As such I’m not the type of so-called “conservative” that believes in no government.

No government is anarchy and that’s not good. We need some government but not as much as the socialist democrats want to see.

I’ve heard all the jokes and comments about government employees being worthless and lazy. It comes with the territory and I take those comments in stride. The government sector, civil service has a large cross section of society working there. With that said, you will find lazy people and those that put in an honest day’s work for an honest day’s wage.

A lot of my colleagues are hard workers and let me assure you, we are not over paid. I’d like to tell you what I do but I’m prevented by my work rules. I would like to have a job that I could go back to. So, I’m not going to break those rules and risk exposing my identity.

When I left my civilian job for government service, I took a 50% pay cut. I knew that before accepting the position that I have now. There were other trade-offs that made working for the government more attractive.

One of those attractions was not having to work as much as I did in my civilian job. That doesn’t mean that I don’t work now. I just don’t work as hard. Another thing that I get paid for is not for what I do but for what I know.

I have over 40 years of experience in my field. The government can’t manufacture that experience and has to get it from the civil sector of the industry. I cannot overemphasize this enough; I get paid for what I know not for what I do.

So, it might look to some folks as if I’m not working at all. If you knew what I have done with my life, you would be darn glad that you have someone like me in the position that I occupy.

I provide oversight and conduct inspections on a very safety sensitive industry. Unfortunately, it is the Democrats who are holding employees like me hostage, don’t care about American citizens and hate our Federal Republic.

A lot of people tell me that I will be back to work and I’ll get back pay. I really hope they are right but there is no guarantee of that. It takes legislation from both houses and the President’s signature for me to get back pay.

I wish I could go into details about why I can’t find temporary employment in my field but that would give away too much about me. Hopefully, you can all appreciate that. If you don’t then why don’t you post your real names and addresses on this forum. I want to enjoy a certain degree of anonymity for the same reason the rest of you do.

My particular job and department that I work under is apolitical. We are here strictly for the safety of all Americans. That’s all I can tell you.

So, before anyone paints all Federal Employees with the same broad-brush stroke, please remember that there are still quite a few of us that want to see a big-ass wall or barrier on the border.

There are still quite a few of us that would like to see every illegal immigrant kicked out of this country.

There are still a lot of us that believe the best way to solve our fiscal problems is to stop giving money to people that are capable working but WILL NOT work. And that includes the illegal immigrants.

My heart goes out to the people who have loved ones killed by illegal immigrant criminals. I have bills and a mortgage to pay. Sure, I will miss a paycheck. I’m hoping it’s only one paycheck.

The sad thing is, I might get back pay but the families of those victims will never get their loved ones back.

So, the next time you harbor any thoughts about some of us government employees as being worthless and overpaid please keep in mind that there are quite a few of us who have given up a lot for your safety and well-being. There are some of us that want a wall on the border and the illegals out of this country. We are the ones that are being used by the Democrats just because they hate Trump.

This is going out on a limb by comparing apples to oranges but I'll bet there aren't a lot of people on this forum that are in favor of a wall that are actually contacting their congressmen to tell them to give Trump the money for the wall.

I've seen a lot of people at gun shows and gun stores who were too damn lazy to contact their elected representative and tell them to vote against anti-gun bills and vote for the pro-gun bills.

From what I have read, not a lot of people ever bothered to contact congress on the HPA. That's one of the reasons it never went anywhere.

So how many people on this forum that are interested in seeing a barrier built have bothered to even contact their congressmen?

And don't give me the crap that; "My representative is a $%&$%^ Democrat. He's going to do whatever he wants." The reason he does whatever he wants is because not enough people bitch at him for being an ass-hole.

Statistics show that when one person contacts their representative or senator about a particular issue, that is one person who has voiced the opinion that about 4,000 other voters share. So think about what it says to Congressman Bilgewater when 100 people contact him about something. Do the math, that gets his attention. That's not conjecture. Politicians have told me this themselves.

You calls, letters and e-mails make a difference.

I've made 7 phone calls so far this morning. Currently looking into how much trouble I could be in if I were to, hypothetically, make a service someone like you could call into and give pre-recorded answers to questions that might be asked during the phone call process, and robo-dial every member of congress and have those questions be answered in your own words in a somewhat human-like request/response pattern backed by NLP APIs and AI.

You know, like a canned e-mail except with interactive voice responses using own words, and an obnoxious barrage of good old fashioned American phone spam.

Fuck these motherfuckers.

P.S., in case you missed it: I addressed anonymity in this thread

Read the thread I linked in the edit to that post. I'm not saying it's an exercise in futility at all. I'm saying I can make it easy for you to call every single member of congress and deliver a message in your own words. Why call someone else's representative? Why the fuck not?

Not all .gov employees are POS. Some are Veterans, some are disabled combat Veterans. Some are Republicans. Some support the wall. All of you here who think the .gov is fucked up have no clue of how messed up they really are. NONE! I could tell you stories that would keep you up at night. It's the same people that work for .gov who are engaged, care about how money is spent understand how really fucked up things would be if there wasn't some right leaning folks in .gov. These people are keeping the wolves at bay.

Most of the people talking shit about BP and ICE here have never spent 3 minutes on the border, much less worked in an LE capacity there. It's another fucking planet.

Unfortunately, phone calls aren't cheap. It's gonna be ~350 to 500 minutes per person that uses the service which would be roughly $20 for the connections and roughly $25 total for all of the shit that goes into it, per person.

If 100k people use the service, that's breaking 2 million dollars to facilitate 53.6 million phone calls.

Congress receiving 53.5 million unique phone calls from artificial representations of unique individuals in a single day ought to get some attention, though.

Trump said, "Call congress". He didn't say, "Call your US representative".

That doesn't seem to stop all the Mexicans from working /living/collecting welfare near me.
Speaking of .gov and safety, without all knowing .gov there wouldn't be section 8 moved out into formerly nice towns and neighborhoods.

Apparently attention to detail isn't a strong suit of yours. I have been here for a few years now.

BTW, I called both of OUR senators today, did you?
Don't forget to call Chuck and Nancy.

Pelosi, Nancy D REP (202) 225-4965

Chuckie Schumer D Sen. (202) 224-6542
