Here's my little 10.5" SBR. Total frankengun. AR-Stoner barrel (on sale, $75), Midwest industries FF tube, got it a little longer than I needed so I milled out a section to be able to thread the can on, no-name M4 upper, DPMS BCG, DPMS lower, Jard trigger, and some magpul furniture. Running an ERGO adjustable gas block. I'm shooting 75gr HPBT's over 25gr CFE223 at about 2310fps. Nothing outlandish, but surprisingly capable within 600yd if the wind isn't horrible. Single-digit SD's and just over 1 MOA. I'll take it.

I don't think I've posted here. Newest build. Things are only hand tight. Receivers came back yesterday and I wanted to see how it looked together.
Grabbed a gunshow Harris knock off yesterday too. We'll see how it works until I splurge on a nicer one. Want to upgrade the trigger first.

My neighbor runs Craddock Precision and a few of my buddies work in the shop. I had them put this 18" rock creek cut rifled upper together for me. Paper targets are 5 shot groups with 77 OTM Prime at 100 yards. They are the first two groups I shot after sighting in and cleaning the bore. Steel plate was shot at 660 yards with the same ammo. Didn't have time to do load work up before harvest so I settled for some decent factory ammo and I am thoroughly impressed.

For me the grip is kinda like a pink ribbon. After dealing with all the cancer in the past, I honestly don't mind it at all.

It is a standard 20 inch H-Bar contour.

It feeds like shit through a goose. They aren't supposed to work, but they do. You can't put more than 27-28 rounds in a 30 round mag or 18 in a 20 round mag and expect the top round to feed. As long you do that, they are awesome.

This is my second 223 Ackley gasser. That little chunk of rail just forward of the ejection port is for the brass catcher. I get so tired of chasing brass at matches.

Work in Process-
Got the scope mounted and the gas block installed. Just waiting on open machine time to throw up the rail and machine out some clearance for the taller block. Still trying to decide if the scope is mounted too far back due to the non-cantilever mount. The eye relief seems comfortable in a standing position but I'm not sure how it would be prone yet.

It started life as a Barnes Precision Machine rifle but only the lower reciever still remains. The important bits are:
Stretch16 barrel
JP LMOS BCG
SLR GB
Hiperfire 24c trigger
Odin stock
Taccom plastic buffer and reduced recoil spring
Cobalt Kinetics muzzle brake
Fortis CH

Andy Folk @ TheFirm did the cerakote and milled the rail off the handguard.

It'll have a C-more C3 scope on it by friday and I'll be testing the Whiskey Arms aluminum carrier sometime soon. It already recoils less than my 10/22 so I'm curious to see what the ultra low mass parts do.

Several customers have been inquiring about 9mm AR's lately. After looking into the topic, it is evident great strides have been made in this format in recent years, completely unbeknownst to me! So, I figured it was time to jump in and build one.

The issue I have with 9mm AR's those using UZI/Colt magazines is last century I had a lot of issues with them. They're brutal to load, for one thing. And drop one and see what happens!

The Glock magazine variants work fine, apparently, but to me it just looks so wrong.

So, I was happy to see that Quarter Circle 10 is building BILLET(!!!) AR' receivers that will accept the second best sub-gun mag in the world, that for the MP-5. (The best magazine is I think the Sterling.)

It gets better: QC10 also makes outstanding barrel and bolt assemblies for the 9mm AR' application.

So here's where I am so far, with my first such project. Besides the previously mentioned QC10 components, I'm using a V Seven receiver end plate and tube nut plus safety selector, Seekins oversize bolt release, and BAD steel push pins. This will be my first use of a Vltor A5 recoil system on an AR' pistol format. I like it because it' uses a rifle recoil spring, much more reliable and long lasting than a carbine recoil spring - and the tube is about 3/4" longer than a carbine tube. I went with the A5-H4 buffer, their heaviest, for suppressed use. That's a Surefire Ryder 9 Ti can stuffed inside the BCM KMR.

I started out with a LaRue MBT trigger, my favorite for 90% of AR' applications, but it became apparent rather quickly that it was not compatible with the ramp on the underside of the QC10 bolt carrier. So, I switched to a Geissele SSA with a conventionally shaped hammer.

The Gear Head Tailhook may be the most clever arm brace to be designed to date. It has a push button, spring loaded latch, making it easy to deploy.

The MP-5 magazine seats positively and drops free with zero hesitation. The bolt catch does not hold the bolt open on the last shot, as with an AR', but it does work in the manual mode perfectly.

Just finished building this. It’s an OD Green SanTan Tactical STT-15 lower and a VLTOR VIS Fusion upper. It has a 16” Proof carbon .223 barrel, SLR Sentry 7, JP Ultra LMOS aluminum BCG, Magpul CTR with Larue RISR and MDT enhanced butt pad, JP Silent Captured Spring, Geissele SSA-E and BAD-ASS ST (yes, the safety did not function as it is supposed to and I had to file the barrel of it to work properly and let the trigger release the hammer), BAD EPS pins, TB 223CB brake, Steiner T5Xi 3-15x50 in ARC M10 20 moa mount, and a Vortex Venom 3 moa red dot on a Blackhawk offset rail.

OK, its not a super high dollar build, it doesn't have all the exotic billet this, and titanium that in it, BUT___ THIS is MY rifle! There are many like it, but this one is MINE!
Its a frankenstein gun that will shoot 5 shot groups at 100yards that a quarter will cover. It loves 62gr BTHP on AR Comp powder.

Anderson Nickel-Boron BCG

Wilson Combat 20" Stainless Super Sniper Barrel 1:8 twist
