Has anyone tried to see what kind of accuracy they can get out of this pistol? I realize it’s a cqb style gun but it seems like it has the makings to put decent groups down range to 150-200ish.

I would think if a seven and a half inch barrel was of good quality, inherent accuracy should be good. However, muzzle velocity must really suffer. Plus, damn, those short barrels in 5.56 make a huge fireball!

I have a jp precision ctr-02 and lrp-07 based builds that fill the need for accurate semi auto. I would like fast handeling ar that would be good for an acog.

I had the same itch. I built a 14.5" (pinned flash hider) rifle with a good barrel and my choice of excellent trigger and hand guard. Didn't come to much more than that (~950$). Handles quick and fits in the truck well. Might have gone shorter with these new "arm braces", but probably not 7.5". This really is a very useable rifle with at least 300 yard range. I cannot help but think of a extremely short AR as much more than a range toy, although I must admit to having a few of those.

I held one at the local gun shop and fell in love with the ergonomics. I really wanted the sig mdx but didn’t care for it. the long “brace” on the saint made all the difference for me. I typically buy guns when the fit me well. Sako TRG, Smith’s &Wesson m&p 9. Etc

Well, I will not be the one to try and talk you out of a well fitting gun. And it's not like there is a limit on the amount of guns a person can have. I, too, am curious about the accuracy and looking forward to a report.

While I can't comment on the Springfield, I picked up a Rock River Arms 10.5" pistol a while back, price was right, so I figured why not. I put an aimpoint Pro on it, geissele trigger and the rest is stock. I've only shot it out to 100 yards, for the type of gun it is, the accuracy is more than acceptable. It really shines in CQB environs. Super maneuverable and fast. It has it's uses. I travel a lot, it's always in the vehicle, doesn't take up much space and if needed, would be much more comfortable with it over a hand gun. And who can't use another weapon! Just remember, you can't shoulder the brace! :)

Bump. How can this gun be sold out everywhere I go but nobody on here has tested it? I’m not gonna lie. The flash bang from such a short barrel kinda adds to the cool factor to me.
