I'm looking @ one of the MK4 ER/T scopes with the 34mm tube. Is the windage turret ridiculously tall/big or is it just me. I someone has one of these MK4's would you mind giving me the width and height of the windage turret. Can it be replaced with a shorter turret? How would the MK4 ER/T compare to the MK6 ? Your opinion of the scope would be appreciated. By the way , I know it is an old scope. Thanks in advance.

I think the 34mm Mark 4 is a great scope. Optically, it is still a competitor in its price point. I no longer have mine, so I can't give you the dimensions you are asking about. The only downfall about the scope is that button at the top is sometimes a huge PIA. It is comparable to the Mark 6 not optically as good but there.

The ER/T has several different turrets. Some are very high, some are low. These are considered last generation scopes, but optically, still very good. You should call the custom shop. It depends upon the model, but many can have the turrets changed.
