I have a Grayboe Renegade stock, overall I'm very happy with the quality of the stock, but the L.O.P. was too short, and it needed an adjustable cheek rest! Taylor Precision did an awesome conversion on both for me. If any of you guys are having similar issues with your stock, check these guys out, great quality work and fast turn around! https://taylorprecisioneng.com/t/grayboe-renegade-adjustable-cheek-riser

I went the DIY route. While it is functional, finish work on it has been more than it would have been worth to have just sent it in to taylor. Have 2 more sitting here, might send them in instead of spending hours messing with it myself...

These are polymer spacers, he also has skeletonized and anodized 6061 aluminum spacer systems.

my DIY route was 3D printing a loggerhead... It worked a lot better than I expected. Was still thinking on the adjustable lop, but might just print some spacers as well for the one that is already done'ish

Deltawhiskey,

Did Taylor precision do the LOP spacers as well? I can't find that service on their website. Are they still offering it? Do you mind me asking what the cost was? Thanks.

Yes, Taylor did the LOP spacers...he has them in polymer like mine, and also in anodized aluminium. It was right around $100 installed and the turnaround time was like 3 days. I'm not sure why it isn't on the website yet...go ahead and contact him. He is quick to respond and awesome to deal with!

What does the locking mech look like/function? On the website it just shows 2 holes in the cheek rest.
I too am interested in the answer to this question. I was wondering if it looked like the knob on the McMillan A3-5. BTW, thanks deltawhiskey for your help.

Those two holes you see are recessed bolts...It works basically the same as the McMillan adjustable cheek rest, however instead of the knobs sticking out of the side there are two recessed allen head bolts you use to tighten it in place. I didn't experience any loosening of the bolts or slipping of the cheek rest, however I later added some spacers to ensure it can't slip under any circumstances, And it helps put it back at the exact same height after removal for cleaning! : )

Anyone know Taylor Precision phone number? Been trying to get them on Instagram and email for a week. Want to send my stock in for this specific upgrade.

I emailed them a couple weeks ago as well about some LOP spacers for my Renegade, never heard back either.

Just a suggestion but if you guys want an adjustable cheek piece install give @jducos a shout.
He uses KMW logger head hardware and a pretty quick turnaround with good comms.
Thanks for the heads up. Although I really like the Triad stock pack I have on now, I went through and found a thread with his work. Looks great and will give me something to think about. But right now, I'm more interested in just the LOP spacers.

Another question you might be able to ask Joe is if the McMillan spacer system will work with the Renegade, I have been considering trying it but haven't researched it enough to know for sure.
