Does anyone have an actual weight on the DMRII Pro?

Website shows 34oz for DMRII, and Pro is very similar in physical spec, glass being primary, but not only difference. Believe they’re close at 34. Have 3 generations of DMR’s and Pro stands clearly above all previous versions, punching a good bit above its weight class.

Do any of you know if the DMRii pro has a locking diopter? Felt locked the first time I used it, but can't seem to find a way to lock it once I have it set for my eyes

Only the XRS2 has a locking diopter. I was honestly surprised they left that feature out of the Pro when I got mine.

Looks like bushnell is having another open box sale on the Pro & xrs 2. The dmr pro for $970 & the xrs 2 for $1100. You can’t beat these scopes at these prices

I’ve heard a few reviews of people saying the razor or Cronus is lot brighter than the xrs 2 & dmr pro. I don’t think that at all, I’ve had them next to my pmii 56mm & mk5hd 56mm which are as bright as a razor & could not tell a difference when in the day & when it got cloudy towards the end of the day the 56mm scopes were not much brighter maybe a little bit but very hard to tell. The bushnell Ed glass transmits 90% like most other good Ed/hd glass & 50mm vs 56mm is only a 12% increase in surface area it can transmit light so I don’t see how it can be a big difference unless one scope is broken or the multi coating is defective

Is Bushnell getting ready to drop a new scope line? 50% off, looks like they're liquidating

Maybe they are just trying to get more of these scopes out there so people can see how good they are
That's definitely been an effect of it. Between the open box sale and the GAP deal/MAP holiday for retailers, it seems like a LOT of people have picked up Bushnells for the first time. It makes me happy because people seem to be figuring out how good the Pro and XRS2 are.

I agree the tt & Sb turrets are in a different league, maybe the parallax too, vs the other scopes but for the $$ the pro is as good as it gets & this $970 open box price, there’s no other scope with this quality of build under $1000. There might be some close in optical but not in reliability/durability & optical

Just ordered an illuminated xrs2 with illuminated g3 for $1200 bucks. Maybe it’ll be a decent optic.

I really like my XRS 2 which I recently bought to replace my Ares ETR. I am not 100% if I am going to keep it or sell both the XRS and Athlon and break into the mid 2,000-3,000 scope range. I am pretty just chasing personal preferences at this point though...

With the sale price on the xrs2 why not sell the ares & get another xrs2. If you are looking for something different the mk5hd 56mm 25x, trijicon accupower 4.5-30x56 these can be found under $2000. The higher end tangent theta & pmii are awesome scopes that have the best turrets, glass, and the parallax is so easy to focus on these 2 scopes, I’m not getting rid of my pmii or mk5hd but seriously considering getting the dmr pro at that sale price

With all the bushnell sales going on..any of the ED glass is worth it...standard dmr2 are plenty here for sell with about same price vs sales

Yep the ED glass is pretty similar to the razor 2. Definitely not as nice as the Schmidt, Atacr, Tangent, Minox etc but a solid step up from the standard DMR2. If you are on a $1200 budget this a no brainer. If you have a few hundred more I’d try to find a razor 2 in the PX.

The lrts 4-18x is good all around versatile scope for hunting or target & $700. It’s about the same weight as a razor amg 28oz & good glass

Have two range trips and couple hours behind my new DMR II Pro. So far so good. Much of the same for me because I have been shooting two XRSIIs for a while. But at these sale prices, the DMRII Pro is an awesome value. Very tempted to pick up another. Just because...

I mounted dmr2 pro yesterday using plum line..and realized parralex starts at 50y..all this time i thought it starts at 75 like they also advertised on all dmr2 and crs2. Its a plus for me using my vudoo 22..since 50 yards my minimum playing with her anyway..

At this price they should sell tons. I love my DMRII. Damn thing tracks perfectly, clear enough for me at distance and short. I just bought another to go on my 223 and I might pick up one of the open box DMR Pro's for my current build.

I already plan on selling the Athlon and I only have 1 rifle so no need for two scopes haha

The open box dmr II pros are refurbished it says at the bottom. Chance it? I remember sending my first dmr back when they first came out. And it came back GTG. At least these have been looked over twice...
I would. I'm in Canada though and when I checked, they don't have the option of shipping to Canada on their website. Would be hard not to buy one even if I didn't need it at that price

I called & asked about that. The rep said they were just returns for what ever reason & are inspected & repacked but if they were defective then they were fixed so they put refurbished also. They also said I could return it if I thought there was a problem & they have the no fault fix or replace warranty so i ended getting the xrs 2 & a dmr pro for just under $2000, it would have been just over $2k but I had a special coupon code they gave after I had to send my ffp 15-45x60 spotter in twice to be replaced & both times I got a new spotter in a week, hard to beat that

Is PRO any better than DMR II?
I really like my DMR II scope.
And there is illuminated reticle, in PRO there is not.
I have not been able to compare PRO and DMR II, but for me this is a very good optic.
I have also Kahles K624i, i had two, but sold that MIL4 reticle model.
And then my kid rifle is Vortex PST gen II 5-25x50, that is maybe the best on that price point.
Did some range test with the Bushnell today.

You're correct dmr2 pro doesn't come with illum or diff reticle options. But the ED glass is definitely better vs the standard dmr2

Yeah the top end scopes just do everything a little bit better. I have had the xrs2 & Pro next to my pmii 56mm & mk5hd 56mm. My friend who owns the tangent theta owns the xrs2 & Pro first told me how close it was I didn’t believe him. When I had my scopes & his scopes next to the bushnells I was immediately surprised how close it was optically. The xrs2 & Pro will surprise most people how close they are to the top scopes. I don’t think you can find a better scope at the sale prices. Most of the bad reviews are mostly from people who just glanced through the scope not owners & just dismissed it. It takes time, different conditions, & a lot of shooting to get a good comparison of higher quality scopes to see what it does good & bad

I got my GAP deal Pro mounted up. Replaced an ERS. I really liked the ERS, glass was pretty good and everything else was dandy. It had pretty meh CA performance but that was my only complaint. The DMRII Pro is better in every way. Glass is superb at this price. The elevation turret isn’t locking anymore which is nice. The G3 reticle is at best a lateral move. It seems slightly thicker than the G2. CA is night and day better on the pro. My only complaint optically is clarity around the edges. It’s not bad but it’s not as nice as my K525i. It’s not as warm and bright either but it’s brighter than the ERS by some. I liked it so much I ordered an open box pro from Bushnell for another rifle. I can’t say I won’t keep buying them for future rifles. If I can pick the Pros up used in the PX for $8-900 in the next couple years I’m gonna have a pile of them.

My pmii handles outer edge distortion & ca better too. Most rifles scopes are not that good at outer edge distortion & ca though, even the high end scopes aren’t great especially vs binoculars like the Swarovski SV or the Zeiss SF models. No scope I have seen yet compared to these binoculars because they have flat field eyepieces that control distortion almost to the very edge where rifle scopes have field curvature. If you get a chance look through the best rifle scopes & then look through a Zeiss SF or Swarovski SV & you will see what I mean.

Got my XRSII (illum) today. I haven't been able to do a direct comparison but out of the box it seems on par with my Cronus BTR. I can't for the life of me find anything that indicates that this is a refurb...no markings on the box, it was fully sealed, and the scope itself appears new. If I hadn't ordered a refurb I would swear this was NIB; I'm wondering if they sent out some new ones.

They are just open box returns according to bushnell cs. I asked why they say refurbished, his reply was they have to if they did any work to fix them but he said almost all them were returns for personal reasons & they inspect every scope before they go out & if you are dissatisfied they will fix or replace the scope or return for refund. People are picky & will return scopes sometimes for insignificant reasons or maybe the wife found out & forced the return, it happened at my uncles gun shop a few times

Most were returns for whatever reason, some were used for mock ups/shows (SHOT, NRA...etc). All were inspected before being made available for sale.
