Has anyone seen a Bix'n Andy trigger tac sport single stage fail from dirt? Opinions on them? I can't decide on a trigger for my build I started out thinking I wanted a jewel but a friend pointed out that he has seen a few fail at PRS matches due to dirt. A smith told me that he had a trigger tec in recently that he was having a hard time getting it to adjust out. So I'm now checking in to a Bix'n Andy trigger. Just looking for some experience and thoughts on them.

the bix'n andy tac sport is the nicest trigger ive ever pulled...mine is a 2 stage...i will never own another jewell i had to many issues with the one i did own...before the BnA im running now i ran single stage calvin elites that i never had any issues with but keep in mind that any of these triggers will fail to function if they get enough crud in them.

So you would say that in feel that the bix'n andy tac sport is as good if not better quality than jewel aside from your's being 2 stage vs single stage?

The bix’n Andy is way better than a jewel or a Calvin elite IMHO...it takes a little tuning to get just right which is not hard just trial and error until your happy...I’m talking the 2 stage....the single stage would be VERY simple to set.

FYI....I dry fired my buddies 2 stage tac sport twice and came home and ordered one I liked it that much.

Good to know thanks for the wisdom! Have you had yours for awhile? When I was asking about functioning in the dirt, my rifles get cleaned regularly, and I don't take them out in the mud and rain, I just don't want to have trouble if there is a little wind and some dust floating around.

then you will have no issues with any of the better triggers...ive only had the BnA for a couple of months but a few of the guys i shoot with have had the BnAs for over a year and no issues...before that the calvin elites never gave me a problem...i live in nevada so everything gets full of dust and dirt and i do shoot in the snow, rain, wind ECT...like i said any trigger will go down if theres enough crud in it...a good douche with lighter fluid...or i use 99% isopropyl alcohol...blow it out with canned air will get it up and running most of the time.
