I have shot mine at the range on the bench. I am liking it. I may get some video put together of that. It does have quirks that seem to be fading as I run it more, as Lenny said. I got a comment on one of my YouTube videos, that if the feed lips are shorter, then the shoulder of the round below...

    Athlon quality?

Ares BTR, 4.5-27 and 2.5-15 here. Tracking and return to zero good. Never did a tall test yet for true value of clicks. I liked the mil turrets enough. Reticle was nice, but not as crisp as SHV. Turrets and parralax turned good after break in. Good clicks, not as crisp as others but very good...

I think this has some truth to it. I made a Barloc order after the Nucleus specific were announced. Not sure what proportion, but they were still selling rings, mags, and Mausingfields.

    Nucleus Build Pictures

I put a Barloc on my Savage action and dropped it in an HS Precision for a varmint contour. I had to open the channel up for the Barloc as well. I think that will be a fairly common theme for Barloc in a stock, unless you have a straight barrel contour. It wasn't much though, maybe 1/16th or so...

That is where I am @Winny94 Frankly, getting a perfect return to zero is pretty low priority on my list of things at this point. I'd never trust a rifle to return to zero perfectly anyhow, and, that's just me. Whatever the circumstances, I'll take that first shot at 100 yards, and be able to...

These two guys sum it up pretty well. You don't need the Barloc if you are gonna do just one barrel and leave it till you shoot it out. You can manage without it. But, it is nice enough to spend the money. I will still do barrel nuts on some Savage actions, but Barlock is souch easier.

Yeah, the original video Ted did had the cross bolt for the Barloc lower, which would have required notching every barrel. Thankfully, he moved it up enough so that a plain prefit works.

You should be able to see the Barloc recoil lug indexing on the rail in my videos, especially the ones where I tear down and build it back up. They are in the Nucleus videos thread I started.

I ordered a short action and long action. My long action is in magnum bolt face. I haven't heard anything on the long action. And, if they have the magnum bolt faces made by that time, I hope I am one of the first to come off the line.

I am getting the feeling that Magpul mags are gonna be the winner with my 6xc. The Accurate mag was running fine, something just seemed better with Magpul mags. I'll have to look at it closer now that you mention it as well.

I shot mine too. Yes, running it forward is where you need to give it a little more. You certainly don't need a lot of force. You can't baby it forward is what I would say. Mine shot these group at 200 yards with some handloads I threw together this morning, so I gotta say I'm very happy...
