    De-Cap-ATurtle bottle opener/self defense tool

$11 each plus $5 shipping. Paypal Gift preferred, IM works best. Fully stocked and can stamp up to 5 letters for a couple of bucks extra

Price increase due adding a 1/4" HEX hole instead of circle in the rear, waterjetting fees cost more every time the jet changes directions.

The DE-CAP-ATURTLE is water jetted from ¼” 6061 aluminum then hand-shaped into a self defense tool that is to be worn on your key ring. The practical purpose is for opening bend cap bottles and is shaped like a turtle so your spouse won’t mind having it hanging with the 10 other useless trinkets she has on her key ring already. The bottom edge of the tip is the sharpest point but won’t cut threw pocketbooks or pants pockets.

It is very hard to get some people to take self defense seriously and even harder to get them to carry a knife or firearm for self defense. Those same people are not likely to have any hand to hand combat training. The DE-CAP-ATURTLE is designed for those people. Just add this to your loved ones keychain, then ask them nicely to carry their keys a certain way, and they will always be armed on those trips to the car at night.

The Nose/Tip of the DE-CAP-ATURTLE is designed similar to a BESH Wedge which is a popular fighting blade design. It is not designed to be used as a punch device but as a downward cutting tool. You could use it as a punch device but it will damage your knuckles which is a fair trade in a attack. Untrained fighters instinctively swing their fists from top to bottom when confronted instead of punching on a horizontal plane. This technique while mostly ineffective by itself can be quite the defense with the addition of the DE-CAP-ATURTLE.

I realize the DE-CAP-ATURTLE is nowhere near as good as a firearm, knife or maybe even a properly trained and delivered elbow. But I assure you, out of all the items hanging off your defenseless loved ones keychain, this one will be the game changer in the event of an attack.

will do tonight GrantA, but for now, the center cut hole will fit over a bottle cap perfectly, im waiting on a few patent details and it may become a twist opener, not sure yet though.

I see you are in GA, do you ever get to Gun Site Hills in Lexington GA, I teach classes there roughly twice or 3 times a year

OK so I guess you get 3 fingers on it really, index on top, middle in bottlecap area and ring finger at the back leg, cool. Have you thought about having them coated?
As for Gun Site Hills, thanks for reminding me of that place. I remember finding the site a while back and it's probably lost somewhere in my bookmarks. That's about a 4.5hr drive for me but it looks like a fun place to go, maybe sometime I can work it out.

I wish you the best in your business venture, but I do want you to know if you attempt to patent something like this many people (myself included) will likely think you have poor business principles and avoid your product.

I'm sure you've seen the tactical armadillo, I have a free model from Christmas 2009 and it has a sharpened portion able to be used for self defense.

Maybe you've misunderstood, I'm trying not to get to any patent trouble, not patent myself, a patent wouldn't be worth my time. Just trying to put out a cool little functional product. Thanks for your interest
