I wanna get my first bolt for the range and target shooting, any recommendation?

Ruger RPR is great, as is the Tikka CTR, Tikka Tac A1, and Bergara HMR. .300 WM isn't what Id recomend. I dont have fun shooting .300, i just see dollar signs being thrown downrange, and expensive ammo discourages frequent trips to the range. Like others have said, hunting only imo. .308 is a...

    Impact precision action

I had mine in a Magpul Pro 700 Chassis. Im very certain XLR would work too, if you tell them it's for an Impact. They can make almost anything fit if it doesn't already. MPA chassis fit as well. BUT KRG chassis do not fit! The trigger hanger on the Impact is too big for any of the KRG chassis.

Vector or impact. Opinion for 2 gun builds.

Oh. My mistake i misunderstood the situation.

Vector or impact. Opinion for 2 gun builds.

Ah. To be fair, the magazine blocking the bolt when putting upwards pressure on AICS mags happened when I had an Impact too, it happened using the Magpul Pro 700 chassis, but not when I used the MPA chassis. I have found however, that I dont care about it anymore. I just dont put pressure on the...

Vector or impact. Opinion for 2 gun builds.

If you want both actions, go for it! But I feel I should say, Ive owned an Axiom and an Impact. I would take the Impact or a Lone Peak over the Curtis. The Impact was harder to bind up and just felt better to me personally. It also has a super light bolt lift. The Curtis' 60 degree lift is a bit...

Has anyone added weight to their Bravo?

Agreed, I've been switching my setups from a different well-known manufacturer over to KRG. I like how theyre always developing new stuff and keeping an eye on the forums. Great customer service, excellent products, and their chassis look straight up evil. Love KRG.

    First custom action which one?

I've got a Defiance and Lone Peak. I say Lone Peak all the way. I believe gunsmiths are now offering shouldered pre-fit barrels for them, they bind less than my Defiance, and they have a noticeably lighter bolt lift too. They're just as smooth in feeding and ejecting. My only regret is that I...

    First custom action which one?

If controlled round feed is what you like, I know of a few popular options, and have tried 2 of them. Some of the popular Control Round Feed options are: ARC Mausingfield ARC Nucleus Defiance Deviant (w/ CRF option) Bighorn TL3 Bighorn Origin I've handled the Mausingfield (didn't get to shoot...

    First custom action which one?

Ive tried so many actions at this point. The only big name I havent used yet is an ARC Mausingfield. I checked them out at Shot Show though and it did feel really good. My favorites however will remain: Lone Peak Fuzion (the steel version) and Impact Precision 737. Excellent customer service...

    Daniel Defense Delta 5

True, and if you ever find that you dont like it, you can always trade and sell rifles here. Ive done lots of transactions here on the hide! If you can though, I highly suggest trying to find the guns locally and feel them before buying (if possible). Ive saved a lot of money by handling actions...

    Daniel Defense Delta 5

I second the KRG Bravo stock. Much better than the Magpul Hunter 700 Stock in my opinion! The Bergara and Ruger Precision rifle should also be able to do what you want no problem, but the Ruger is a bit bulky and you cannot change out it's stock. With your budget I would either build my own as...

    Which Folding Chassis?

OH! Ive also had the Magpul 700 Pro chassis, I shoulda weighed in on that earlier when I said I liked KRG's mechanism the best. Compared to the KRG, the Magpul Pro is just as solid, and while it doesnt lock in the folded position, it has a detent that helps keep it folded until you want to...

    Which Folding Chassis?

Ive had the XLR, MPA, and KRG. Of those, the KRG has the best folding mechanism. Solid lock up, locks in folded position, feels high quality. Like you said I am not the biggest fan of the MPA's folding mechanism, but their non folders are top notch. Same goes for XLR. Their buffer tube folding...

KRG Bravo vs. MC3 Legend vs. Magpul Hunter

Ive got the Magpul and the Bravo. As mentioned earlier, there is no difference in terms of performance/accuracy. Just like there is no real performance difference between a base model Toyota Camry, and a premium Toyota Camry. It pretty much comes down to feel, aesthetics, and smaller subjective...
